Keith Wells

Founder and CEO, MXZN

A former broadcaster with expertise in sports, video technology and sports tourism, Keith has spent the last decade working on a string of successful startups.

Keith is the founder of SendtoNews. A sports video company that delivers digital sports highlights for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and 75 other leagues to 1,800 newspapers in North America. SendtoNews delivers over 1 billion videos per month and is the #1 digital sports distributor in North America.

Keith is the founder of travel video provider ArmchairTourist.com, and he is also an inventor, having created multi-award winning ProPrompter mobile teleprompter in 2002.

Benoit Huot

VP Business Development, MXZN

Benoit Huot is one of Canada’s most decorated Paralympic athletes with 20 medals in five Paralympic Games.

A member of the Canadian national team from 1998 to 2018, he won 32 medals in six World Championships, lowering more than 60 world records in his category.

Benoit is involved in various causes involving youth, inclusion, diversity, active lifestyle, and sport. He is an ambassador for Right to Play and Jumpstart Foundation.

Member of the Order of Canada and Knight of the Order of Quebec, his biggest dreams are to help our youth by inspiring them to look beyond their own boundaries and motivate them to realize their dreams. He does it by sharing his passion for life.

Art Aylesworth

Executive Chair, MXZN

Art Aylesworth is a well known BC businessman and former CEO of solar technology leader Carmanah Technology Corp. and Chair of Victoria-based SendtoNews.

An experienced leader with the ability to inspire and motivate people towards common objectives, Art has held senior management positions in the technology industry for more than 30 years.

Named the “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year” (2006) for Canada’s Pacific Region and the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre (VIATEC) “Executive of the Year” (2005), Mr. Aylesworth is a successful serial entrepreneur.

Hon. Brian Malone QC

Founding director and shareholder of MXZN

Brian practised law for thirty years principally with McCarthy Tetrault in Calgary, Alberta. He was Managing Partner of their Calgary office from 1990-99 and National Chairman of the firm from 1995-1997. In the latter capacity, he dealt with the firm’s international marketing and specifically client relations in Japan.

Brian was appointed to the Federal Court of Appeal in 1999 and has resided in Victoria since his retirement.
